I’m teaching myself to draw Horses.

I can’t believe how much fun they are. Difficult as hell so far, but I’ve decided to make them a feature of the repertoire.

There’ll be lots of good, bad and ugly horses posted over the next few months…

Simon Schama, the art historian made famous by his BBC specials, refers to the artistic and symbolic significance of horses in his ‘Power of Art’ series.

Not that it profits me other than by spreading the good word about a mini-series that is so culturally enriching, but I strongly recommend you purchase Simon Schama’s Power of Art.

If you don’t believe me, I dare you to google it and read the reviews. Yeah, you read right. I dared ya.
